On 7 October 2026, the day Microsoft showed how Windows will govern its agents, the University of Utah, a public US university, published WebMirage on arXiv: a doctored image leads a web agent to click where the attacker wants 91.9% of the time on average, in the lab and without testing Windows or any commercial agent.
